La Viorna

Left the ferry at about 12.30. Lindsay took us the way of St Bowen thru Santander lol. Eventually we stopped at a cafe where I failed miserably at ordering orange pop, Naranja didn't come out well  with a missing tooth lol.

The GS humming along nicely 38 degrees on the outside temp gauge,hairpin after hairpin amazing road surface just sublime. We finally got the intercoms sorted out with a bit of Lindsay's technical skills. And both bikes going great through the twisties. I'm impressed with Lindsay's V-storm, keeping up with the GS in all but a few sections- his worries are proven in founded. Then made our way to a stop at the supermarket in Potes to grab supplies (bacon, eggs ) had another problem with pronunciation - I know eggs are Huevo but could I get the girl to understand and direct us to them? Reverted to a elbow flap chicken impression seemed to do the trick LOL.

Later we had a swim in the pool to cool down , Lindsay being wuss about not getting in if too cold !

Later we met some lads from UK on their way to Pamplona in the morning we took their recommendation and had the menu of the day at the camp site, and sat with them to advise a bit on the bull run an when to get there and where to watch from etc.

Early start tomorrow, off to Ponferrada !
